Proudly supporting major £13.1m housing development in Hull

S&D Flooring is thrilled to have been appointed as a main contractor on a £13.1m affordable housing development in East Hull.

Working alongside principal contractor Esh Construction and delivered in partnership with Together Housing Group, the Ryehill Grove scheme will provide 65 new homes on land between Ryehill Grove, Wyton Grove and Exeter Grove, opposite the Freedom Centre on Preston Road.

The project will see 31 two-bedroom, 28 three-bedroom and six four-bedroom homes built, all with private rear gardens and dedicated parking, and 16 of the properties will be designed to meet accessibility needs.

Under the 12-month contract, our flooring specialists will install kitchen and bathroom flooring across the entire development, with properties being released in phases of four at a time as construction progresses.

Delighted to have secured such an important project, Managing Director Steve Dixon said: “We’re proud to be part of a scheme which will deliver affordable housing in our home city, especially one which is suitable for people with accessibility needs.

“The people of Hull need high-quality homes like this so that communities can continue to thrive and grow. As always, we will be doing everything we can to deliver modern, durable flooring and the highest-quality finish.”
