Safety flooring project secured at NHS mental health facility in York

S&D Flooring is thrilled to have been awarded another high-profile NHS contract for an extensive renovation at Clifton House in York, a specialist mental health facility for adults.

Owned by the Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, we’ve completed an on-site inspection and will soon begin a busy schedule of works.

Known for our precision and high-quality workmanship, we will install approximately 200sqm of new flooring across 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The project will feature Altro Wood Safety Flooring combined with Gradus Setting Skirting, delivering a modern, durable and safe finish.

Managing Director Steve Dixon commented: “This project is one of several major NHS installations we’ve undertaken over the past 12 months, and we’re thrilled to be working on such a prestigious facility in York.

“We understand the challenges involved in coordinating a project of this scale, but our team is committed to delivering the high-quality finish the rooms deserve.

“We hope the newly fitted spaces will contribute to providing patients with the very best care and support them throughout their recovery journey.”
